Antenatal Classes

Classes:

Antenatal classes are a good way to meet people in your area who are pregnant and to have ongoing contact for support and friendship after your baby has arrived.

Antenatal classes are held four times a year at the Otorohanga Parents Centre building in Kakamutu St, Otorohanga. They are funded by the Waikato District Health Board and are offered free to all pregnant women and their partners.

For more information about class dates and enrolment forms contact Larna Culpan on 0274995481.

Comments from previous participants:

'Awesome class, great to have good mixture of people in class to feed off each other. Great handouts!!'

'One local mother told me the classes were for middle age, middle class pregnant couples, so I was apprehensive about attending. However I’m glad I didn’t listen to that ill-informed person, and I thoroughly enjoyed every class!'

'Excellent course with good informative information. Handouts are good because you can take them home to read in your own time.'

'Classes were not what I expected, would recommend to other fathers to be.'
